Assignment Details:
We are seeking an experienced OBGYN to provide locum coverage in Ketchikan, AK. This full-scope role includes both inpatient and outpatient care with hospital and clinic privileges.

Location: Ketchikan, AK

Start Date: 10/29/2025 (orientation 10/28/2025)

Duration: Through at least 1/12/2026

Schedule:

Clinic hours: 8 AM – 5 PM

Call: 24-hour shifts, typically 2–3 days in a row with a clinic day in between

Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient

Hospital Size: 25 beds (5 Labor & Delivery)

Average Volume: 10 patients/day in clinic; 0–2 Labor & Delivery patients per day

Support: Always a second OBGYN on call; 24/7 ED and hospitalist support

Requirements:

Board Certified OBGYN (Required)

Active Alaska license

Experience with inpatient & outpatient OB/GYN

EMR: Epic

• 6 Months w/ Possible EXT
• On Call Required
• Full-scope OB/GYN. No expectation for scheduled surgeries unless assisting or providing an extra hand.
