OBGYN needed in Alaska

OB/GYN – Alaska
Orientation: April 13, 2026
Start Date: April 14, 2026
Duration: 6 months
FTE: 0.25 (approximately 1 week per month)
Reason for Need: Gap in coverage

Practice Setting:
• Both clinic and hospital coverage
• 25-bed hospital (5 L&D beds)
• Rounding and admissions required
• Average 10 clinic patients per day
• 0–2 deliveries per day
• Full-scope general OB/GYN
• No expectation for scheduled surgeries unless assisting
• Always a second OB/GYN on call
• 24/7 ED and hospitalist support
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• MD/DO – Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
• Active Alaska license required for submission
• Active DEA required for submission
• BLS (AHA or ARC) required
• Must provide case logs from the last 24 months demonstrating OB/GYN scope (waived if recently completed training)

Expedited credentialing process – AK license and DEA must be in hand.
