Opportunity Details

Location: Alaska

Start Date: July 21, 2026

Assignment Length:
• 13 weeks with ongoing coverage potential

Practice Setting:
• Hospital-based OB/GYN coverage
• 10-bed hospital
• Adult patient population
• Approximately 5 patients per shift
• EMR: Cerner and Athena

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Low- and high-risk obstetrics
• Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)
• OB ultrasounds (Level I and Level II)
• Amniocentesis
• Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean sections
• Breech deliveries
• Multiple births
• VBAC management
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Office and minor gynecology procedures
• Surgical gynecology procedures including laparoscopic and open cases

Requirements:
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible OB/GYN
• Active Alaska Medical License required
• DEA Required
• BLS Required
• PALS Required

Credentialing:
• Emergency credentialing available
• Approximately 5-day turnaround
