Locums OBGYN Opportunity in Ketchikan, AK

Job description

Schedule:
ASAP start through 10/23/2026 (extension anticipated)
Approximately 1 week/month (.25 FTE)
Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
24-hour call during clinic week
Weekend 24-hour call as scheduled

Assignment Details:
Clinic and hospital privileges
Inpatient and outpatient care (same building)
~10 clinic patients/day
0–2 L&D patients/day
25-bed hospital (5 L&D beds)
Full-scope OB/GYN with clinic, rounding, admissions, labor & delivery, and ED coverage
No scheduled surgeries expected, but may assist as first assist when needed
Always a second OB/GYN available for support
EMR: Epic

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN
Must be willing to obtain AK license quickly
24 months of case logs required

Credentialing:
ASAP

Additional:
Ongoing coverage expected beyond current assignment
No prior malpractice cases due to credentialing restrictions
