This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility that provides comprehensive women's health services to the community. The facility features an 8-bed department and maintains high standards of patient care while ensuring high-risk trauma patients are appropriately transferred to specialized trauma centers when needed.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:
• Coverage dates: 05/15/2026 @ 7A to 05/26/2026 @ 7A
• Must be licensed in Arizona or hold IMLC credentials
• Board certification required with 30-day credentialing timeframe
• Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and laser certification
• Provide comprehensive obstetrics services for low and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE monitoring
• Conduct OB ultrasounds with Level I (screening/viability) and Level II (targeted/anatomic) capabilities
• Handle routine deliveries including vaginal births and low forceps procedures
• Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform VBAC deliveries and make critical decision-making for c-sections
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations as needed
• Provide office/minor gynecology services including IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures
• Perform surgical gynecology including open procedures and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures
• Handle operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, and cystectomy
• High-risk trauma patients will be transferred to appropriate trauma facilities
• Accommodations available at nearby Avi Hotel & Casino or Holiday Inn Express within 15 minutes

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
