Locums OBGYN Laborist needed in CA

Job description

Assignment Overview
• Start Date / End Date: ASAP – Ongoing
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (7AM–7PM) with 24-hour on-call coverage

Responsibilities
• Inpatient OB/GYN care
• Patient volume: 10–15 per shift
• Trauma Level II facility
• EMR: Cerner
• Bed in department: 3
• Skills required include:
○ High-risk pregnancy management
○ FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
○ OB ultrasounds (Level I & preferred Level II)
○ Routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, C-section, VBAC, breech, multiple births)
○ Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
○ Office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
○ Surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, diagnostic/minor, ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs)
