📅 Assignment Details

Start Date: As soon as credentialed (45–60 days)
Contract Length: Through August/September with possible extension
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

1-hour lunch


🏥 Practice Setting

Outpatient clinic only

No call

No hospital coverage

EMR: EPIC (highly preferred)

👩‍⚕️ Patient & Visit Details

Average 18–21 patients per day

~20 patients/day typical

15 minutes for follow-ups

30 minutes for procedures and new patients

Patient Population: Adolescents (13+) through geriatrics

🩺 Scope of Practice / Skills Required

Confirmation of pregnancy (>7 weeks) with bedside ultrasound

Initial OB visits

Routine OB visits

Postpartum care

Incision checks

Well-woman exams (all ages)

Office-based procedures:

IUD & Nexplanon insertion/removal

Biopsies

I&D for cysts

LEEP, colposcopy, EMB

Cryotherapy

Cervical polyp removal

Problem-focused visits:

UTI, STI

Menopause & HRT

Breast pain


✅ Requirements

Board Certified OB/GYN – Required

Unrestricted California license – Required

DEA – Required

BLS or ACLS – Required

Completion of an accredited 4-year OB/GYN residency program
