Locum OB/GYN Hospitalist – Fresno, CA

A well-established 375-bed community hospital in Fresno, CA is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for locum OB Hospitalist coverage during various dates in March and April.

This is an inpatient hospital-based role providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology coverage.
The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system and does not carry a trauma designation.

Schedule
24-hour shifts:
7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
No on-call requirements
Weekend requirements: N/A

Scope of Practice
Approximately 20% Gynecology
Obstetrics: Low- and high-risk pregnancies, HR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), Level I & II OB ultrasounds (performance & interpretation)

Labor & Delivery: Vaginal deliveries, operative deliveries, C-sections, breech, multiple births, complicated deliveries

Gynecology: Major/open surgical procedures including ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, and extensive LOA

Requirements
Board Certified in OB/GYN
Active California license

This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-acuity OB hospitalist care in a busy Central Valley hospital setting with full travel support.

• Inpatient OB Hospitalist role at a 375-bed community hospital in Fresno, CA – 24-hour shifts with no call requirement.
• Comprehensive OB/GYN scope including low/high-risk pregnancies, C-sections, complicated deliveries, and major surgical gynecology; EPIC EMR.
• Board Certified OB/GYN with active CA license required.
