OB Hospitalist Locums Opportunity in CA – Night Shifts Available

Job description

Opportunity Details:

Location: California

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule: 13-hour night shifts (7pm–8am, includes handoff time)

No call required

Work Details:

10–15 shifts per month needed (will consider providers with 2+ shifts/month)

5–8 active labor patients per night

1–2 ED consults per night

Adult patient population

EMR: EPIC

Bread and butter OB hospitalist work, operative delivery experience (including forceps) strongly preferred

Experience working with midwives preferred

Spanish speaking skills preferred

Note: Facility performs abortions; locums are not required to perform them but will manage any related complications

Requirements:

ABOG Board Certified strongly preferred (will consider truly BE)

Active CA license required

CA DEA required

BLS required

Ideally 2+ years of OB Hospitalist experience (new grads considered)

Credentialing takes approximately 90 days.
