Locums OB Hospitalist Opportunity in Oakland, CA

Job description

Please note: Providers must be able to provide availability 3 to 6 months in advance for scheduling.

Schedule: 13-hour shifts, nights, times are 7p-8a. (12hr shift, and then final hour is for handoffs.) Option for 25 hour shifts available.
Call requirements: no call

Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 10-15 shifts/mo. Will consider providers who can offer at least 2 shifts/mo
• Patients per day: fluctuates. Active labor management is generally 5-8 patients/night. Generally 1-2 ED consult/night
• EMR: epic
• Special procedures: bread and butter OB hospitalist. Experience with operative deliveries including forceps greatly preferred.
• Skills required: Experience working with midwives preferred. Spanish speaking skills preferred.

Requirements:
• Board Certification: ABOG BC strongly preferred, but will consider truly board eligible
• License required: CA license required
• DEA: yes, CA DEA required
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
