OB/GYN Outpatient Locum Opportunity in Irvine, California

Job description

Top Highlights:

Monday–Friday schedule (no call, no weekends)
Outpatient only with steady patient volume
Procedures-based practice with full scope OB/GYN care

Opportunity Details: OB/GYN (California)

Start: As soon as credentialed (45–60 days)
Contract Length: Through August/September with potential extension
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8a–5p (1-hour lunch)

Work Details:

Outpatient clinic setting
18–21 patients per day
15-minute follow-ups, 30-minute new visits/procedures
Patient population: adolescents (13+) to geriatrics
EMR: Epic (required)

Procedures & Skills:

Pregnancy confirmation with bedside ultrasound (>7 weeks)
Initial and routine OB visits, postpartum care, incision checks
Well-woman exams (all ages)
IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal
I&D for cysts
Problem visits: UTI, STI, menopause, HRT, breast pain
Advanced procedures: LEEP, colposcopy, EMB, cryo, cervical polyp removal

Requirements:

Board Certified OB/GYN
Active California license required
DEA required
BLS or ACLS required
Minimum 2+ years experience
Completion of accredited 4-year OB/GYN residency

Additional Info:
