Facility:
This well-established hospital features a dedicated Family Birthing Center with its own operating room for cesarean sections. The facility provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services with strong support staff including anesthesiologists, general surgeons, local OB/GYNs, family medicine physicians, pediatricians, and experienced respiratory therapists.

Physician - OB/GYN

Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services in hospital setting with dedicated Family Birthing Center
• Handle deliveries averaging 25-40 per month with full cesarean section capabilities
• Provide emergency department call coverage for OB/GYN related issues
• Work 24-hour call shifts from 8am to 8am including weekend coverage
• Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN or Board Eligible within 5 years
• Current California medical license and DEA registration required during credentialing
• Demonstration of at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures in past two years required
• Minimum 10-day credentialing timeframe from completed application
• Proctoring required including observation of first two non-emergency deliveries and first three GYN cases
• Self-Query NPDB report mandatory within 30 days of presentation
• EMR system: Cerner
• Coverage needed for cancellation and maternity leave with urgent dates in 2026

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
