Location: Red Bluff, California

Facility: Community Hospital, part of Dignity Health – North State, providing comprehensive women's health services to northern California.

Opportunity: OB/GYN physician needed for ongoing locum tenens coverage providing 24-hour OB and Gynecology Emergency Department call coverage. There are no clinic or office responsibilities, allowing physicians to focus exclusively on inpatient care and urgent women's health needs. Providers do not need to remain in-house but must maintain a 20-minute response time. Cases include full-scope OB/GYN services with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, gynecologic surgeries, and emergency consultations. Physicians can expect approximately 16–20 patients daily with an average of 40 deliveries per month. Dedicated support staff and a Cerner EMR system ensure a smooth and efficient practice environment. Emergency privileges may be available, with credentialing typically completed within 30–60 days.

Compensation: Highly competitive locum tenens compensation featuring premium 24-hour call rates and enhanced holiday coverage rates. Travel accommodations are available, with preference given to California-based physicians.
