Start: As soon as credentialed - ongoing

Schedule:
12-hour shifts
Days: 7:00a–7:00p
Nights: 7:00p–7:00a

Setting:
Inpatient hospital
Level II Trauma Center
EMR: Epic

Patient Volume:

5–10 patients per shift

Unit Details:

10 Labor & Delivery rooms
8 Antepartum rooms
18 Postpartum rooms
2 dedicated OB operating rooms

Responsibilities:

Provide Laborist coverage for unassigned OB patients
Manage unassigned GYN emergency patients
Perform C-sections, management of spontaneous abortions, and ovarian torsion
Assist private physicians with planned and emergent C-sections
Manage low- and high-risk labor patients
Laborist backup and Maternal-Fetal Medicine support available
