About the facility

This inpatient facility in California provides full scope obstetric and gynecologic services, including OR-based and OBED coverage, to the regional patient population. The facility operates a Level II NICU and maintains fewer than 300 beds, supporting continuous on-site care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. Clinical operations are conducted in accordance with 24-hour in-house call coverage requirements.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour in-house call assignments at an on-site facility in California, with coverage beginning December 2026 and continuing on an ongoing basis. Clinical responsibilities encompass the full range of inpatient OB and GYN care, OBED coverage, and high-acuity cases across both inpatient and OR settings, with continuous on-site availability required throughout each designated coverage period. The assignment is structured at 6-8 shifts per month on a consistent basis, and call coverage is a required component of this role. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active California state license are required; the credentialing timeframe is 90 days.
