Job description

OB/GYN Physician: Outpatient Community Health

Setting: Outpatient only, patient-centered community health ("bread and butter" OB/GYN)

Core duties
Provide prenatal, postpartum and outpatient GYN care, including exams, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up
Serve as the go-to OB/GYN consultant for cases referred by other providers, in person or by phone
Educate patients and families on preventive care, diagnoses and treatments
Order labs and tests, and refer patients to specialists as needed
Keep accurate, confidential records in the EHR, in line with state rules and clinic policy


Required licenses and certifications:
Current, valid California medical license
Current DEA registration
Current BLS (CPR) certificate, AHA approved
Board certified in OB-GYN (board eligible is acceptable, but must be board certified within 2 years of hire)
EMR: Epic
PPD: 18-21
