This well-established medical center serves the greater Modesto community and operates a dedicated Laborist program, providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services. The facility features a 3-bed department with strong support for locum providers and an estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days.

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services within a Laborist program, with 10-15 patient encounters per shift
• Shifts are available in 12 and 24 hour formats
• Manage low risk pregnancies and perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Provide routine delivery services including vaginal deliveries and low forceps
• Responsible for decision-making for c-sections and performing c-sections as required
• Manage complicated deliveries including breech presentations and abruptions
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic surgeries
• Perform operative/major gynecological procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Must hold an active California medical license
• Board certification required with BLS and PALS certifications
