Locum Tenens Physician – OB/GYN

Shift: 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) with occasional 12-hour night call (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing

Position Details:

Patient Population: Adolescent and adult OB/GYN patients

Setting: Inpatient hospital, emergency room, and call coverage

Responsibilities:

Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage
Manage labor and deliveries
Perform C-sections
Treat gynecologic emergencies
Collaborate with family practice teams and nursing staff

Required Procedures:

Vaginal deliveries
Cesarean sections
Management of gynecologic emergencies

EMR System: Epic

Support Staff: RN support and in-house anesthesia

Days Per Month: 9–10 shifts per month available

On-Call/Weekends: Yes – 24-hour and overnight call, including weekends

Requirements:
Board Certified in OB/GYN
Active Colorado license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
Active DEA registration
OB/GYN residency completed
NPDB Self-Query within 30 days
Clean malpractice and background history

• Flexible scheduling with 9–10 shifts per month
• In-house anesthesia support for deliveries and emergencies
• Ongoing urgent coverage with strong ongoing need
