Job Details:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday General Obstetrician and Gynecologist role supporting a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) team
- Perform surgical procedures at two hospital locations and provide outpatient clinical care across multiple office locations
- Participate in medical and surgical treatment for chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, and fibroids
- Engage in gynecology service coverage, surgical procedures, and ambulatory care - obstetrics is not mandatory
- Practice within a fully integrated EMR system (Epic) in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment
- Multi-disciplinary team includes OB/GYN generalists, Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, Urogynecology, Gyn Oncology, Complex Family Planning, Gender Health providers, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Genetic Counselors
- Provide holistic, quality, and cost-effective advanced practice care for patients across the lifespan and the healthcare continuum
- Engage in independent clinical decision-making regarding the health care of individuals, families, and groups
- Opportunity to participate in research, education, quality improvement, safety initiatives, and hospital or university committees
- Must possess an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and hold or be eligible to obtain a Connecticut Medical License
- Must be board certified or an active candidate for board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Must have completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) or a similar program, or possess extensive experience in MIGS
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages beyond English is highly desirable but not required
