24-Hour OBGYN Call Coverage in Fort Walton Beach, FL

Job description

Specialty: OBGYN
Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Contract Length: As needed, until the OBGYN is cleared to work
Start Date: ASAP, with coverage beginning October 2026
Schedule: 24-hour in-house call shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM; approximately 8 shifts per month

Work Details:
• Backup support for CNMs, who take first call
• CNMs are certified surgical first assists
• Patient volume varies, typically fewer than five patients per day
• Female, childbearing patient population
• C-section experience and comfort working with CNMs required
• Meditech EMR
• Hospital setting with 331 beds

Requirements:
• Board certification in OB/GYN
• Active Florida medical license
• Active Florida DEA
• NICCA certification
• At least two years of recent, full-scope OBGYN experience

Credentialing Timeframe: Emergency privileges allowed
