A well-established Level III Trauma Center at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for locum tenens coverage following an unexpected retirement. This is a strong, ongoing opportunity with a balanced clinic and surgical schedule and emergency privileges available.
Opportunity Details

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Practice Setting: Clinic and OR
Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Flexible scheduling between clinic and OR days


Call: As assigned

Case & Volume Information

Procedures: Full-scope General OB/GYN, including C‑sections
Deliveries: Approximately 20 per month
Patient Volume: Approximately 300 patients per month
Trauma Level: Level III

Support & Staffing

Midwives: 3
Physicians: 1 additional provider
Team-Based Environment with strong clinical support

Technology

EMR: Greenway
Transitioning to: Meditech (June)

Licensure & Credentialing

License: Georgia license preferred; IMLC candidates welcome
Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
Emergency Privileges: Available to expedite start
