Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Locum Tenens clinic coverage Monday through Friday with some scheduling flexibility
- 18-24 patient encounters per shift in an outpatient clinic setting
- Provide general gynecology services including placement of LARC contraception and removal of IUD/Nexplanon
- Deliver preventive women's healthcare services
- Ultrasound experience preferred but not required
- OB competency preferred but not required
- Preferred skills include management of low and high risk pregnancies
- Preferred skills include FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) and OB ultrasounds (Level I and Level II)
- Preferred skills include routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
- Preferred skills include repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Preferred skills include office and minor gynecology procedures such as IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
- Preferred skills include surgical gynecology including open, laparoscopic, and operative/major procedures
- Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible considered)
- Active Georgia medical license required
- BLS certification required
- Epic EMR training required prior to start; training sessions held every other week from 8:00am - 4:30pm and can only be completed after credentialing
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
