Schedule:

Patient Contact Hours: 24 hour in-house hospital coverage (The locum is required to be onsite for 24-hour stretches)
Shifts per month: 6-8 shifts per month
Shift length: 24 hours (in-house)
Procedure/OR days: As Needed
Details:

Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes, labor and delivery floor
Telehealth: No
Services offered in the practice: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, circumcisions
Number of Exam Rooms per provider: N/A (Hospital-based coverage only)
Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 10-15 triages a day plus deliveries
All OB Triages are to be seen by the physician on call.
Patient Demographics: Primarily obstetric and gynecologic patients
EMR: Cerner
Job Responsibilities:

Provide 24-hour in house call coverage on the labor & delivery floor, including management of obstetric patients, deliveries, emergency gynecologic cases and inpatient consultations.
