2 WEEKS/MONTH OB/GYN COVERAGE NEEDED IN ILLINOIS

Job description

Position: OB/GYN Locum — 2 weeks/month coverage (Hospital/Clinic)

Practice setting:
Join team of 2 OB/GYNs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
Advanced Women’s Center with state‑of‑the‑art LDR suites, private postpartum suites, on‑site surgical team, and 24‑hour anesthesia support for epidurals
Level II nursery; collaborative care with CNMs, pediatricians, and advanced practice providers

EMR: Cerner
Main OB holds backup pager support if needed

Clinical volume:
Clinic: ~20–25 patients/day
Deliveries: ~20–25/month (distributed among providers)

Schedule & Duties:
Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM during assigned weeks
Dedicated OR block: Monday & Friday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
Shared call model supported by CNM to balance surgical and triage coverage
Provide prenatal/postpartum and general GYN clinic care, labor & delivery management, C‑sections and obstetric procedures, and inpatient/ED OB/GYN triage during assigned coverage
