Facility:
This well-established hospital features a 20-bed department operating under an LDRP model with a Level III NICU, providing comprehensive women's health services to the community. The facility also offers a surgery center and robotic surgical capabilities, along with a Family Medicine residency program that supports OB triage and floor patient management.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Permanent placement opportunity seeking a full-scope generalist to join a busy OB/GYN practice
- Join a group of 3 existing physicians, forming a 4-generalist group with a hospitalist for a total call group of 5 physicians
- In-house call is restricted at a 1:5 ratio
- 22 patient encounters per shift within a 20-bed department
- Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
- Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
- Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) - Required and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) - Preferred
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
- Decision-making for c-sections required
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
- Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures
- Perform surgical gynecology including open, laparoscopic, and major operative procedures such as ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
- Laser certification required
- Board certification required along with active ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Active Indiana license or IMLC required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days
