Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity with Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, Kansas.

This is a full-scope OB/GYN assignment with a combination of clinic coverage and shared call responsibilities. The facility is seeking approximately 1.0 FTE of coverage, which may be provided by one full-time physician or split between two qualified physicians.

Assignment Details
*Full-scope Obstetrics & Gynecology
*Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
*Approximately 40 hours per week
*2–3 clinic days per week
*Shared 1:6 call rotation
*Approximately 25–30 clinic patients per day
*Epic EMR
*13-week initial commitment
*Strong likelihood of assignment extension

Compensation

Estimated all-in weekly compensation: $8,900–$9,400+

Compensation packages can be structured based on the physician's individual circumstances and may include:

*Competitive taxable compensation
*Lodging and Meals & Incidental Expense per diems for eligible travelers
*$5,000 sign-on bonus
*Up to $2,000 in travel reimbursement
*Reimbursement for required professional liability/malpractice insurance

Physicians whose permanent tax residence is more than 50 miles from the assignment location may be eligible for lodging and M&IE reimbursements based on applicable GSA rates and tax eligibility requirements.

If professional liability coverage is needed, we can also connect physicians with our preferred insurance broker.

Licensure

An active Kansas medical license is not required at the time of submission.

Qualified physicians may be presented to the client while Kansas licensure is being obtained.

Ideal Candidate
*Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
*Comfortable providing full-scope OB/GYN services
*Able to manage approximately 25–30 clinic patients per day
*Comfortable participating in a shared call rotation
*Available for approximately 13 weeks or longer
*Interested in an assignment with potential for extension

• Monday–Friday schedule, 8 AM–5 PM, with 2–3 clinic days per week and shared 1:6 call.
• $8,900–$9,400+ estimated weekly compensation plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and up to $2,000 travel reimbursement.
