Facility:
This facility is a well-established inpatient hospital-based setting offering comprehensive labor and delivery services to the Paducah community. The facility features a Level II Nursery, onsite labs, ultrasound, and full hospital labor and delivery equipment, with an annual delivery volume of 700-800 deliveries and 140-190 labor and delivery triage visits per month.

Board Certified/Board Eligible - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Provide locum OBGYN on-call coverage for EMTALA call coverage needs
• Schedule: 7a-7a with in-house and beeper/phone call coverage required
• Average of 1-6 patients per day in a 100% inpatient setting
• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps deliveries
• Decision-making for C-sections and performance of C-sections required
• Manage complicated deliveries including breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• VBAC management required
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
• GYN call coverage required
• Midwives will take call and deliver their own patients
• EMR/Documentation via EPIC
• Must have active Kentucky license or active IMLC
• Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• BLS and DEA required
• Must be available for coverage November 25-29 with no exceptions
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days, with potential to expedite based on need
• Travel reimbursements approved for airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate
