Job description

Coverage: 6–7 shifts/month, with potential for more
Coverage Dates: Nov 25–29, with ongoing coverage needs
Schedule: 7 AM–7 AM
Call: Yes — in-house and beeper/phone call
Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
Patient Population: Adults
Inpatient: 100%
Patient Volume: 1–6 patients/day
EMR: Epic
Clinical Duties & Procedures
Routine vaginal deliveries
Low-forceps deliveries
Decision-making for C-section
Complicated C-sections
Breech and multiple births
Abruptions
VBACs
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
GYN call coverage required
Midwives take call and deliver their own patients

Lourdes Hospital
359 beds
Nursery Level II
Approximately 700–800 deliveries annually
Approximately 140–190 L&D triage visits/month
Onsite labs and ultrasound
Low volume of C-section patients

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible – American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Kentucky license or active IMLC
BLS
