Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN for locum call coverage at a 359-bed hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
This is a 100% inpatient, call-based assignment with light daily census, midwife support, and full travel reimbursement including airfare, lodging, and rental car.

Schedule & Coverage

Weekend coverage included
Required block: November 25–29, 2026 — no exceptions
Purpose of coverage: EMTALA call coverage
Midwives take their own call and deliver their own patients, with daily midwife coverage in place

Required Clinical Skills
Routine vaginal delivery, including low forceps
Decision-making for cesarean section
Complicated deliveries — C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions
VBAC management
Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
GYN call coverage is required

You Must Have
Board certification or board eligibility through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active Kentucky license or active IMLC
BLS certification
Active DEA
Confirmed availability for November 25–29, 2026

Practice Environment
359-bed hospital with hospital-based labor and delivery
700–800 total deliveries annually
140–190 L&D triage visits per month
Low volume of C-section patients
Onsite labs and ultrasound
Level II nursery
Epic EMR

Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: 90 days, expedited based on need
