Facility:
This well-established regional medical center provides comprehensive women's health and surgical services to the central Michigan community. The facility offers a collaborative work environment supported by a team of experienced staff, including two on-site NPs, and utilizes Cerner as its current electronic health records system.

Board Certified - OB/GYN

Job Details:

• Seeking an experienced, board-certified OB/GYN physician for locum tenens coverage
• Coverage model: OB call every 5th week of the month
• Assignment anticipated to begin in September with an end date of January 2, 2027
• 24/7 hospital coverage required, including 2 hours of gratis patient care per call shift
• Coverage areas include: Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, Surgical coverage, and acute/urgent surgical needs
• Clinic consults limited to emergent cases requiring determination of hospital admission
• Average of 4 deliveries per day
• Support staff includes 2 Nurse Practitioners
• Current EHR system: Cerner
• Required skills and procedures include: low risk pregnancy, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations, VBAC, OB ultrasound, and amniocentesis
• Must be board certified in OB/GYN
• Active Michigan medical license required - no exceptions
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in OB/GYN required
• NPDB report pulled within the last 30 days required at time of presentation
• Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using DocTime; no timesheets will be approved
