Exciting Locum Tenens OB/GYN opportunity in Michigan.
Join an established hospital-based team seeking an experienced Board-Certified OB/GYN physician.
$2,800 per 24-hour call with 2 hours of gratis patient care included.
$350/hour for callback after the first 2 hours of patient care.
Coverage is available approximately every 5th week, providing a predictable call rotation.
24/7 hospital coverage across Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, and surgical services.
Average volume of approximately 4 deliveries per day.
Supported by 2 NPs.
Cerner EMR.
Coverage anticipated from September 2026 through January 2, 2027.
Local Michigan candidates are preferred
Excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN seeking focused hospital call coverage with strong compensation.

Job Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 OB/GYN hospital call coverage.
Manage patients in Labor & Delivery.
Provide OB/GYN coverage in the Emergency Department.
Perform necessary surgical coverage and respond to acute/urgent surgical needs.
Evaluate emergent clinic consults and determine whether hospital admission is appropriate.
Manage approximately 4 deliveries per day.
Perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
Manage VBAC cases.
Repair 3rd- and 4th-degree lacerations.
Perform and interpret OB ultrasound as appropriate.
Perform amniocentesis when clinically indicated.
Collaborate with NPs and hospital staff.
Document patient care in Cerner.

Qualifications
Board Certified in OB/GYN – Required
Active Michigan medical license – Required; no exceptions
Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN experience – Required
Local Michigan candidate preferred.
Candidates must be available for the required call rotation.
NPDB query from within the last 30 days – Required at presentation
Must be comfortable providing comprehensive hospital-based OB/GYN coverage.
Working Hours
24/7 hospital call coverage
Coverage approximately every 5th week
Specific coverage dates to be determined.
24-hour call rate: $2,800
2 hours of gratis patient care included
Callback: $350/hour after 2 hours of patient care
Coverage period: September 2026 – January 2, 2027
No routine clinic schedule.
