About the facility

This Level II facility provides obstetric and gynecologic services within an inpatient setting, with clinical protocols and structured workflows in place to support continuous care delivery. The facility maintains the infrastructure and resources necessary to accommodate locum tenens clinicians across all assigned coverage periods. Support staff are available to assist with clinical operations throughout each designated assignment.

The assignment area is situated along Lake Michigan and offers clinicians access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Recreational options include fat tire biking across open sand dunes, ice skating, snowshoeing on vineyard trails, and winter sports at area parks and nature centers. A walkable downtown, a craft beverage scene, lakeside scenery, live music performances, and community events throughout the year provide additional options during time away from clinical responsibilities.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage through in-house call shifts on an on-site basis, beginning January on an ongoing basis. Day shifts are structured at 10 hours and night shifts at 14 hours, with continuous on-site availability expected throughout each designated coverage period. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this position.
