OB/GYN Hospitalist | High-Risk OB + 24/7 MFM Support | Flexible 12s or 24s

Job description

Join a highly supported OB Hospitalist team providing care to a predominantly high-risk obstetric population with 24/7 access to Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists.

ASAP start with ongoing coverage
Flexible scheduling with 12 or 24-hour in-house shifts
24-hour shifts run 7a–7a
OB-only coverage – no GYN
Approximately 11–12 deliveries per day
Primarily high-risk obstetric patient population
Work closely with MFM specialists to co-manage complex pregnancies
MFM physicians available in-house during the day and on-call overnight
Provide labor & delivery coverage and assist with C-sections and other obstetrical procedures
Highest-acuity patients are supported and co-managed by MFM and ICU teams
Additional OB/GYN physician coverage is in-house for added support
No residents to supervise
CNM support incorporated into the care model
Level II nursery
EMR: Epic/Excellian
OBIX utilized for electronic fetal monitoring
Board Certified OB/GYN required
BLS required
Trauma Level I or II experience required
Active Minnesota license highly preferred
IMLC required if not currently MN licensed
General OB/GYN physicians with strong high-risk experience/interest are considered with full MFM support
Clean files may qualify for emergency temporary privileges for an expedited start
