Missouri OBGYN Locums – 24-Hour Call, 1 Week/Month Coverage

Job description

Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (first assignment December 30 – January 5, 2025)
Contract Length: 3 months with ongoing 1-week-per-month coverage

Schedule Details:

24-hour call, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Initial week: December 30 – January 5

Ongoing coverage: 1 week per month

Call can be taken off-site; must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes

Work Details:

Support Staff: 1 OBGYN, 1 FMOB, 2 APPs

Department: Call system is 1 in 2, with FMOB support needed from OBGYN. OB and ED departments will notify of in-house needs (10-minute response expectation).

Procedures: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, tubal ligations, hysterectomies, D&Cs

Practice Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient hospital

Annual Deliveries: ~534

EMR: Epic

Travel & Logistics:

Flight, rental car, and lodging provided

Requirements:

Board Certified OBGYN

Active Missouri medical license

Minimum 2 years of experience
