OB Hospitalist Locums Opportunity – Missouri

Job description

Top Highlights:

Flexible Scheduling: 12 or 24-hour in-house shifts with 36–48 hours per week available
No Clinic: 100% inpatient OB Hospitalist coverage with no GYN responsibilities
Excellent Support: Midwife and nursing support, 24/7 pediatric coverage, dedicated in-house OB anesthesia, and a Level III NICU

Opportunity Details:

Start: December 7 or as soon as credentialed
Initial 3-month contract with ongoing coverage
Approximately 3–4 days per week
Triage, admissions, ER consults, urgent L&D, deliveries, and postpartum care
Approximately 4,000 annual deliveries
20–25 triage patients per day
60% vaginal deliveries / 40% C-sections
Level III NICU
3 operating rooms on the L&D unit with additional main OR support
Epic EMR
Travel and lodging covered

Requirements:

Board Certification required
Missouri license preferred; willing to license
DEA required
Must be comfortable with VBAC, vacuum, and forceps deliveries
Credentialing: Approximately 60–90 days
