Facility:
This well-established hospital serves the Washington, Missouri community with a comprehensive women's health and obstetrics department. The facility features 16 beds, including 8 LDRP and 8 couplet/GYN beds, with strong staffing support including dedicated RNs and an on-site NP, ensuring providers have the resources needed to deliver excellent patient care.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage needed every 5th weekend, Friday 5pm through Monday 5am, with a September start date
• Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift within a 16-bed department
• Active Missouri medical license required
• Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Handle routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps
• Decision-making for c-sections required
• Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
• Perform office and minor gynecology procedures including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Perform surgical gynecology including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOAs, chromotubation), and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs)
