The facility features an 18-bed department with robust support staff including 24/7 CRNA coverage, respiratory therapy, surgical first assist, and dedicated labor and delivery nursing teams, ensuring a strong and collaborative care environment.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with an average of 6.7 patient encounters per shift
- 24-hour call shifts beginning at 6AM, with ideal scheduling of 7 or more consecutive days; shorter durations also considered
- Primarily solo call coverage; extended contracts of greater than one week may include midwife primary call with locum providing backup
- Facility delivers approximately 600 babies annually with no laborist on staff
- Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
- Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal and cesarean sections
- Manage complex obstetric cases including multiple births and abruptions
- Decision-making authority for cesarean sections required
- Perform major operative gynecology including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
- Handle OB GYN emergency call patient consults
- Support staff includes 24/7 CRNA, 24/7 respiratory therapy, surgical first assist, minimum 2 L&D RNs with increased staffing as needed, 2 NICU nurses, and 1 OB tech
- Call ratio 1:2 with midwife backup support as scheduled
- Board certification required; active Missouri license or IMLC required
- ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days

Compensation:
