Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Provide 24/7 pager call coverage for emergent GYN procedures with some emergent OB procedures as necessary
• Coverage is primarily emergent gynecological procedures; there are no planned deliveries at this facility and no NICU on site
• Must have OB experience within the past 2 years
• Providers will be scheduled for several back-to-back 24-hour pager call shifts (with 3 hours gratis)
• Must be able to commit to covering at least 1 week per month
• 1-2 patient encounters anticipated per shift; procedures are expected to be infrequent but providers must be comfortable managing any emergent GYN patient
• Required surgical gynecology skills include laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation) and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
• Open surgical gynecology experience preferred
• Board certification required; BLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days
• Coverage need begins August 2026, ongoing indefinitely
• Montana medical license or willingness to obtain required
