# OB/GYN Physician – Locum Tenens

* **Shifts:** 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

* **Days:** Monday–Friday

* **Call:** **No call required**

* **Patient Population:** Labor & Delivery patients

* **Daily Laboring Census:** Approximately **1–9 patients**

* **C-Sections:** Approximately **3 per day**

* **Trauma Level:** Level III

* **Inpatient Coverage:** 100%

* **EMR:** Cerner / Oracle

* **Leadership:** None

* **Teaching:** None

* **Credentialing:** Approximately 3 months

* **Temporary Privileges:** Available

* **Travel:** Reimbursement negotiable

## POSITION OVERVIEW

An experienced **OB/GYN Physician** is sought for an ongoing locum tenens assignment providing inpatient Labor & Delivery and gynecologic emergency coverage.

The physician will provide hospital-based obstetrical care while supporting labor and delivery services during the recruitment of a permanent physician.

This is a laborist-style opportunity focused exclusively on **inpatient obstetrics and gynecology**, including management of laboring patients, inductions, cesarean sections, and gynecologic emergencies.

* Approximately **3 cesarean sections per day**.

## SCHEDULE & COVERAGE

* Approximately **36 hours per week**.
* Monday–Friday coverage.
* Combination of day and night shifts.
* **Day:** 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
* **Night:** 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
* **No call required.**
* One full-time provider needed.
* Multiple providers may be considered to fulfill coverage requirements.

## CREDENTIALING & TRAVEL

* Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately **3 months**.
* Temporary privileges available.
* Travel reimbursement is negotiable.

## CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

* **Board Certified in OB/GYN – Required**
* Current **New Jersey medical license** or willingness to obtain.
* BLS
* ACLS
* NRP
* NPDB report within 30 days at offer.
* Providers with minimal malpractice settlements may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
* Demonstrated experience managing Labor & Delivery patients.
* Labor floor management experience.
* Experience with inductions and cesarean sections.
* Experience managing gynecological emergencies.
* Experience providing inpatient gynecological consultations.
