Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Laborist

Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive obstetrics services as a laborist with 0-3 patient encounters per shift
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery capabilities
• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal births and low forceps procedures
• Handle complicated deliveries including cesarean sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
• Manage VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) and make critical decision-making for c-sections
• Conduct FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE monitoring
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds including Level I (screening/viability) and Level II (targeted/anatomic)
• Conduct amniocentesis procedures as needed
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Requires active New Mexico medical license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
• Lodging recommendations include Home2 Suites and Courtyard at NMSU

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
