This facility operates with fewer than 200 licensed beds and does not hold a trauma center designation, providing inpatient and OR-based obstetric and gynecologic services. The facility maintains established clinical protocols to support continuous patient care delivery across a range of obstetric and gynecologic cases. Clinical operations are conducted on-site in accordance with structured workflows for 24-hour call coverage.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour call shifts across inpatient and OR settings at an on-site facility in New York, with no outpatient responsibilities required. Clinical responsibilities encompass the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic cases, supporting a volume of approximately 600 deliveries per year and 2-3 patients per shift; high-risk cases are transferred out. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain continuous on-site availability for all assigned obstetric and gynecologic cases during each designated shift. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is negotiable, and truly board-eligible candidates will be considered; an active New York medical license is required, with a credentialing timeframe of approximately 45-60 days.
