OBGYN Locums Opportunity - No Weekends

Location: North Carolina
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (no Fridays, no weekends)

Position Highlights

Weekday-only schedule – absolutely no weekend call

Mon–Wed: Outpatient clinic, 8:00am–5:00pm (lunch noon–1pm)

Thu: 24-hour onsite L&D call (7am–7am)

Clinic Volume: 6–10 patients half day / 15–20 full day

Deliveries: Avg. 2–3 per 24-hour shift (CNM on site for full 24 hrs)

Practice Setting

Hospital + hospital-owned OB/GYN practice

Dedicated support staff: clinical/clerical team + L&D nurses

Full office procedure capability (LEEP, EMB, colposcopy, IUD insertion)

In-office lab + 2 ultrasound rooms with full-time sonographers

Separate OB/GYN and CNM call rooms in L&D

Responsibilities

Full-scope outpatient OB and GYN care

Manage L&D during Thursday 24-hour onsite call

Collaborate with on-site CNM during all call periods

Care for primarily adult patients, with some under-18 OB/GYN cases

Requirements

Board-Certified OBGYN

Active NC medical license + NC DEA OR IMLC

BLS certification

Comfortable in a busy rural OB/GYN setting

Experienced, seasoned providers only (no new grads)

Clean background, name clear, and NPI verified

EPIC experience required

IMLC accepted — North Carolina becomes an IMLC state on Jan 1st
