This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare resource for the community, featuring a Level 1 nursery and comprehensive women's health services. The facility provides strong support with 24/7 hospitalist, anesthesiology, and radiology services, averaging 27 deliveries monthly with dedicated labor and postpartum units.

Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:
• Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology services
• Round on patients and be available for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
• Handle emergent gynecology procedures as needed
• Manage low risk pregnancies with routine and complicated deliveries
• Perform vaginal deliveries, low forceps deliveries, and cesarean sections
• Handle breech deliveries, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Conduct decision-making for c-sections and repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Perform OB ultrasounds with interpretation capabilities
• Provide office/minor gynecology procedures including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy
• Perform surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Must have active NC license, NC DEA, and NC Medicaid credentials
• Must be currently enrolled with PECOS as a provider
• Board certification required with laser certification
• Must be actively delivering babies with case logs from past 24 months required
• Hospital apartment housing provided adjacent to facility
• Must remain within 20 minutes per hospital bylaws
• Travel costs capped at $500 total
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
