Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Coverage dates needed: July 2nd at 9am through July 6th at 9am
• Locum Tenens assignment with 3-8 patient encounters per shift
• Must hold an active North Carolina medical license - NC license only accepted
• Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible); ACLS, PALS, and laser certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 10-15 days
• Manage low and high risk pregnancies with full obstetric delivery services
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) with performance and interpretation
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Provide routine deliveries including vaginal delivery and decision-making for c-sections; low forceps preferred
• Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Laparoscopic operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's preferred
• Nearest airport is RDU; lodging accommodations available on-site or at local hotel
