About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour call assignments at an on-site Trauma Level IV facility in North Dakota, with coverage dates of December 24 - January 4. Clinical responsibilities include performing vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, bladder repairs, and D&C procedures, as well as rounding on patients, responding to deliveries, and attending to urgent cases presenting in the emergency room. Clinic hours are structured from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
