Facility:
This regional health facility provides comprehensive women's health services to an underserved community in western North Dakota. The facility operates both a clinic and OR setting, supported by a dedicated team including a Family Practice physician with OB experience, nurses, and CNAs, ensuring strong provider support throughout each shift.
Opportunity:
Physician - OB/GYN
Job Details:
- Provide OB/GYN clinic and OR coverage Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with no call required
- Practice must include both obstetrics and gynecology services
- Manage up to 20 patients per day with a focus on Women's Health and OB/GYN cases
- Treat patients according to physician licensure, clinical specialty, privileges, and training
- Prepare and maintain all reports, claims, and correspondence necessary for professional services
- Supervise mid-levels, nurses, and other personnel in accordance with facility policies and applicable laws
- Participate in hospital credentialing and peer review activities
- Maintain timely and accurate patient records within a 72-hour period of services rendered
- Utilize EMR systems including Allscripts AEHR and Meditech
- Cooperate with facility in the event of any claims, threatened claims, or litigation
- Attend to patients in hospitals and other facilities as needed based on patient levels and needs
- Participate in community service activities consistent with the facility's charitable mission
- Active North Dakota medical license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand) required
- Board Certification required; Board Eligible will be considered
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required
- Clean malpractice history required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
