Facility:
This well-established health system serves as a regional leader in women's health services, featuring 16 dedicated labor, delivery, and postpartum rooms along with a dedicated OB OR. The facility supports approximately 120 deliveries per month, with physicians performing approximately 65% of all deliveries alongside a collaborative midwifery team.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locum (Laborist) coverage starting ASAP (once credentialed) on an ongoing basis
• Prefer weekday shifts; 3-4 24-hour shifts per month with 24 hours required off between shifts
• Must be comfortable working collaboratively with a Midwife
• OB/GYN physician must be ABMS or AOA board certified
• Active/current ND license or IMLC required; LOQ must have a future expiration date
• Credentialing timeframe estimated at 45-120 days
• Provider will be able to stay at hotel until called in
• Handle low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery services
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) with performance and interpretation
• Provide routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-sections
• Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Perform surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Perform operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
