OB/GYN – Dover, Ohio

Job description

Location: Dover, OH
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
Coverage Type: Clinic + 24-Hour Call

Schedule Details

Coverage: Mix of onsite/clinic and 24-hour call coverage

Frequency: 1–2 weeks per month

Clinic Hours: 8 hours per day (daytime coverage)

Night Coverage: Beeper call after clinic hours


Work Details

Patient Volume: 15–20 outpatient visits per day

Deliveries: 1–2 per day (approx. 50–60 per month)

L&D Beds: 6

Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Support Staff: Nurses and certified midwives


Procedures & Requirements

Manage Labor & Delivery, including high-risk obstetric cases

Perform C-sections

Conduct GYN surgeries (laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures)

Board Certification: Required (OB/GYN)

License: Ohio (IMLC candidates considered)

Experience: Prior inpatient and surgical OB/GYN experience preferred
