This healthcare facility is a well-established hospital serving the local community with comprehensive medical services. The facility features 45 staffed beds plus a 20-room emergency department, providing quality patient care with a supportive team environment including nursing staff and established physician coverage.

Job Details:
• Provide urgent locum coverage starting Thursday, 06/25/2026 through Friday, 06/26/2026 with potential for ongoing sporadic coverage
• Work 24-hour shift from 7 am on 6/25/26 through 7 am on 6/26/26
• Must remain within 30-minute radius while on call
• Handle average of one delivery per day with approximately 360 births annually
• Participate in 1:4 call rotation covering weekdays and weekends
• Manage low risk pregnancies with occasional high risk deliveries (high risk cases typically referred to tertiary centers)
• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for C-sections
• Handle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
• Conduct FHR interpretation including NST and FSE
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds including Level I screening and Level II targeted anatomic scans
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations as required
• Manage approximately 30% C-section rate with average one nursery admission per day (Level I nursery)
• Work with Meditech Expanse EMR system for documentation and patient management
• Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation)
• Require ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency completion
• Must maintain active Ohio medical license with clean malpractice/licensure history
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Must have completed 50 deliveries in last 12 months with at least 5 C-sections for credentialing
• Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursement provided
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
