This 260-bed hospital features a Level 2 nursery and delivers approximately 1,500 births per year, offering a robust and active obstetrics and gynecology environment. The facility supports a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive women's health and patient-centered care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locums-to-Perm opportunity supporting labor and delivery, inpatient OB/GYN care, consultations, surgical interventions, and obstetric emergencies
• 24-bed department with 3-6 patient encounters per shift
• 12 or 24-hour shifts available (7a-7p or 7p-7a), with approximately 12 shifts per month and a minimum of 8 shifts per month
• Manage labor and deliveries including vaginal and C-section deliveries and obstetric emergencies
• Provide inpatient triage, OB/GYN consultations, and surgical interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients on prenatal and postpartum care and women's health
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best practices
• Manage low and high risk pregnancies with full FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and C-sections
• Manage multiple births and complex delivery scenarios
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major procedures
• Board certification required with ABLS and BLS certifications
• Active Ohio license or IMLC required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
• Trauma Level 3 facility with a Level 2 Pediatrics designation
